Arsenal will move for a Manchester United target if they can’t keep Dani Ceballos, while Manchester City are preparing a fresh bid for a defender and one Chelsea youngster is being linked with a move to France. It’s all in Friday’s Euro Paper Talk.
GUNNERS PLOT VAN DE BEEK SWOOP
Arsenal will rival Manchester United for Donny Van De Beek if they cannot keep Dani Ceballos, according to reports.
Ceballos has had a fairly positive loan spell at Arsenal from Real Madrid this season. However, the Gunners do not yet know if they will be able to keep him permanently.
Real Madrid still have Ceballos under contract until 2023. Reports have suggested that he could return to Arsenal for another loan, but Todofichajes claim Madrid are still weighing up their options.
If the La Liga champions do not allow Ceballos to return to London, then Arsenal will turn their attention to Van De Beek, the report claims.
Ajax are willing to let Van De Beek leave this summer, as the 23-year-old looks to progress his career.
Madrid themselves had been linked with the Dutchman, but that interest has cooled. However, Todofichajes believe Arsenal could take advantage if they can’t keep Ceballos.
Manchester United are also in the hunt for Van De Beek. Therefore, Arsenal want to speed up their talks with Madrid over Ceballos, so they know if they need to act.
Van De Beek could cost in the region of €50m.
