Euro Paper Talk: Man Utd to brush aside €100m Barcelona rejection with enormous bid; Arteta to make Arsenal man leave

Manchester United are willing to submit an even higher bid for a Barcelona star, while Mikel Arteta will likely make an Arsenal defender leave – all in the latest Euro Paper Talk.

Manchester United are willing to go to “dizzying” lengths to sign Barcelona’s teenage winger Ansu Fati, according to a report.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add another attacker to his squad as part of his Old Trafford rebuild.

While Jadon Sancho is a key target, reports on Monday said United had also made Fati a top consideration.

Indeed, the report claimed the Red Devils had tabled a €100million bid for the 17-year-old Spain Under-21 international.

However, Sport‘s follow-up on Wednesday says the Barcelona board of directors rejected the bid.

United, though, are not stopping there and are ready to raise their bid to “dizzying figures” in order to sign Fati.

Barcelona’s stance, meanwhile, remains that they will not sell Fati unless a club triggers his €170million release clause.

The Spanish giants are “fully aware” of the interest from United but are equally confident Fati will stay.
