Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly testing the waters over whether Barcelona would be willing to part company with promising left-back Alejandro Balde.
Thursday’s edition of Sport, as cited by Sport Witness, claims that the Premier League duo are both impressed with the 17-year-old and are ready to make their moves.
Balde has represented Barca in the UEFA Youth League this season. He has so far made four appearances and also has an assist to his name.
But Balde is said to be ‘comfortable’ in Catalonia and respects that Barca ‘will give continuity to his career’.
The talented full-back is expected to get his chance in the first-team sooner rather than later.
Indeed, the LaLiga giants view him a sure thing for the future and are not willing to part ways.
With Balde also feeling at home at the Nou Camp, it looks unlikely that he’ll be convinced to move on.
