Paper Talk: Klopp to sell Liverpool star in January; Arsenal make move for ‘new Thierry Henry’

Liverpool will look to offload Divock Origi in January, while Arsenal are closing in on a defender and an exciting attacking talent and Man Utd have a young defender in their sights, all in the papers.

Jurgen Klopp will listen to offers for Divock Origi in the January transfer window, claim reports.

The Athletic suggest that Liverpool are open to the sale of the 25-year-old striker, who has played just seven minutes of Premier League football this season.

The arrivals of Takumi Minamino and Diogo Jota have shunted the Belgium international down the pecking order. The striker has lost his place in Roberto Martinez’s national squad and he is keen to regain his place ahead of next summer’s European Championships.

Wolves have a long-standing interest in Origi after almost landing the player for £22m in 2018.

Now though with Mexico international Raul Jimenez recovering from a fractured skull, they are ready to make another move.

The Daily Mail also claims Wolves “are among the clubs monitoring developments”.

They are however understood to have a long list of targets ahead of the January window, but a move for Origi next month would not be a shock.
