Paper Talk: Man Utd open talks to sign £30m Bundesliga star; Chelsea ready to pay £27m for new keeper

Manchester United have opened talks over a deal to sign a Bayern Munich midfielder, while Chelsea are prepared to pay £27million for a new goalkeeper, according to Thursday’s paper gossip.

Manchester United have reportedly opened talks to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso.

The Red Devils are said to be gearing up for a busy summer transfer window, with Ed Woodward willing to back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the market.

And according to RMC Sport, as cited by the Daily Express, United could make Tolisso their first summer signing.

The report states that United have opened talks with the France international’s representatives over a deal, although Bayern are demanding at least £30million for the 25-year-old – despite the player starting just seven Bundesliga games this season.

RMC Sport adds that United face major competition from Inter Milan for the midfielder, with the Italian giants also ready for a summer spending spree.

As for other targets, the Red Devils continue to chase Jadon Sancho, despite Borussia Dortmund demanding £115m for the England winger, while Aston Villa’s star Jack Grealish and Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham remain on their radar.

Solskjaer reportedly wants three major signings at the end of the season to compete for the Premier League title next time out.
