West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has admitted he would love to partner up with his childhood friend Mason Mount at club level amid speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea.
The Blues are reportedly considering making a summer offer for the England star, who has impressed for the Hammers since breaking into the first team last season.
Rice used to play with Mason Mount in Chelsea’s youth ranks but he was released by the club seven years ago but the Hammers ace has admitted he is keen to play forge a partnership with Mount on the pitch again.
He told Copa90: “Yeah I’d love to, I’d love to play with him at club level again.
“One thing we’ve always said as kid we’d love to play with each other at club and international level
“But obviously you never know because of different paths and things like that.”

Rice and Mount were very much in contention to make Gareth Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2020 before it was postponed due to the coronavirus.
And the 21-year-old was in no doubt that the Three Lions would have prospered at the tournament.
Asked how he thought England would have done well by Rio Ferdinand, Rice added: “I think so, 100%. ‘I think obviously there is always the expectation from people on social media and a lot of people talking.
“But I think it would be a disappointment with this euros that was supposed to have gone if we didn’t try and go all the way.”
